EdgeX Foundry

EdgeX Foundry is a IoT end computing framework developed within the Linux Foundation, independent of the hardware and operating system. The project is a Go-based reference platform with a microservice architecture that offers an ecosystem of plug-and-play components. The structure, where components such as security and messaging can be customized, is distributed through Docker containers.

What can it do?
  • You manage data flow by connecting IoT devices to cloud services through Docker containers.
  • You add features such as NATS messaging or OpenZiti zero trust to the end computing environment with configuration options.
  • By combining EdgeX microservices independent of the hardware and operating system with plug-and-play components, you activate IoT end IT solutions faster.
