ExternalDNS is a Go tool that synchronizes service and ingress objects in Kubernetes sources with external DNS providers. Instead of working directly as a DNS server, Kubernetes dynamically configures external DNS records based on the list of sources it receives via API. AWS supports various providers such as Route 53 and Google Cloud DNS.
