herdr

Herdr is a terminal runtime designed for coding assistants, running on the background server. When the client is turned off or the SSH connection is disconnected, it keeps sessions open and restores the saved layout after machine restarts. CLI and socket can be managed by assistants via API, supporting plugins and running as a single Rust binary file.

  • Even if the SSH connection is disconnected or you shut down the client, you make sure that the terminals continue to run in the background.
  • You can combine local works and remote SSH machines in a single window and reconnect them independently.
  • Using CLI and socket API, you can enable assistants to open panels and trigger each other.
