imgproxy

imgproxy is an independent HTTP server developed to instantly resize, process and optimize images. The source image works with a special URL structure that includes URL and processing options to capture, process and present the image to the client. It replaces all image processing codes in your web application, taking that load over your application.

Imgproxy: A fast and secure standalone server for resizing and converting images

“Imgproxy is such a reliable piece of technology, set and forget type of thing really. Put it in the cloud somewhere, add some CDN in front of it for caching and you're done. Also a huge money saver when compared to Imgix/Cloudinary/etc offerings.”
