Nightingale is an open-source monitoring system that works integrated with existing data sources and focuses on alarm management, processing and distribution. While there is no ability to collect data, it works well with tools such as Categraf and offers local alarm engine support in distributed architectures. In addition, thanks to the built-in MCP server, it allows AI assistants to manage alarms over natural language.
