partytown

Partytown is a lazy-loaded library that separates heavily resource consuming third-party scripts from the main thread and carries them to a web worker. This architectural approach allows external scripts to be executed in a separate thread while the performance of the main thread is optimized. The project is currently in beta and aims to prevent scripts that are not on the critical path from engaging the main thread.

Partytown: Run Third-Party Scripts from a Web Worker

“Checking the benchmark, Partytown resuts in 237ms, while Baseline is 7ms. Am I missing anything? The browser APIs are already mostly running on separate threads (JS parsing, compilation, TCP requests, etc.).”

Partytown: Run Third-Party Scripts from a Web Worker

“See this JS Party episode for a discussion by Partytown co-author (and Angular creator) at the 50:19 mark, . TL;DR, keep the main thread for your application, send 3rd party analytics, etc, to web workers.”
