PySceneDetect
PySceneDetect is a command line program with a video scene cutting and transition detection library based on Python and OpenCV. Using content-based, adaptive, and threshold-based algorithms, it detects the start and end times of scenes in videos. By working integrated with FFmpeg or mkvmerge tools, it can split videos by scene and record frames from each scene.
