react-snap

This tool is a zero-configuration pre-compiling tool that converts single-page applications (SPA) to static HTML output. Using Headless Chrome in the background, it scans connections starting from the root directory and implements upload performance optimizations. React does not have an addiction; it can also work with different technologies, such as Vue and Preact.

Fails when Create React App has a custom "homepage" field in package.json

“In Create React App there is an option to specify a "homepage" field, which defaults to "/". It specifies where the app is served from. When this is done, react-snap fails with the error > 🔥 /mysite/ pageerror: Error: SyntaxError: Unexpected token at Page._handleException…”

  • • NeutralGitHub Issue

    Should add link rel="preload"

“On adding the option `inlineCss: true` the important styles are extracted, but the main style accessed by link still has a property `rel="stylesheet"` while it should be `rel="preload"`”
