telepresence

Telepresence connects your workstation to a Kubernetes or OpenShift cluster, allowing you to code and debug locally without the need for a container assembly, sending and distributing cycle. it accesses the cluster services and pod via a virtual network interface, supports DNS and IP resolution. By filtering traffic according to the HTTP header or road, it allows multiple teams to share without a single cluster collision.

What can it do?
  • In your local development environment, you get real traffic in the cluster using IDE, debugger and hot reload tools.
  • You can change the remote container, cut a service port, listen to a copy of traffic, or just take volumes with the environment variables.
  • Filtering traffic by HTTP header or path only captures your own requests.
