vaderSentiment

VADER is a dictionary- and rule-based emotion analysis tool that focuses on emotions expressed in social media texts. It can process elements specific to the social media language, such as capitalization, punctuation marks, slang expressions, emojis, and degree markers. This library, which is Python 3 compatible, calculates positive, negative, or neutral scores of texts by analyzing them at sentence level.

    "To die for" misinterpreted

“I have found this basic common expression which is misinterpreted by Vader: `To die for.-------------- {'neg': 0.661, 'neu': 0.339, 'pos': 0.0, 'compound': -0.5994}` Could you consider adding a new rule for that?”
