Minestom

Minestom is an open-source Java library that does not contain any code belonging to Mojang, allowing developers to create their own Minecraft server software. This structure, which by default contains no features, allows developers to fully control server behavior through a comprehensive API. Bukkit is not compatible with Forge or Sponge API; therefore it is used as an addiction, not as a direct server plugin.

  • Without the default features on the server, you can design any game mechanics from scratch through API.
  • Instead of worlds, you manage blocks and asset groups on a multi-threaded server with a more scalable instance system.
