OpenDAL

Apache OpenDAL is an open data access layer that provides access to object storage, file storage, cloud SaaS, databases, protocols, and key-value services. Its zero-cost kernel was developed with Rust, allowing applications to enable only the backends and features used. It allows the addition of production-level features such as retry, timeout, log recording, monitoring and measurement through reusable layers.

  • You manage common behaviors such as retry, timeout, log, monitoring, measurement, rate limitation, and synchronicity control by adding layers
  • With the Rust kernel, you use bindings from different programming languages, such as C, C++, Go, Java, Node.js and Python, in their projects.
